... touch and stroke the rabbits, dwarf goats, lambs, wild ducks, bantams and guinea pigs. Close by
there is also a shady forest adventure playground. Right beside that is Tyrol’s largest high rope facility with 14 various courses:- www.kletterpark-lienz.at
When you feel peckish or just need a rest you can go to the Moosalm mountain restaurant or the snug parlour at the Venedigerwarte to quench your thirst and satisfy your hunger. To round off the visit, the more adventurous among you can have a ride down into town on the Osttirodler, one of the longest and fastest Alpine Coasters in the world. The others may prefer to walk down or take the gondola.
Bruck Castle
This castle houses our municipal museum, where you can admire works by Albin Egger-Lienz and others. The museum is open from 19th May until 26th October. In October it's closed on Mondays.

Galitzen Gorge
This gorge can be enjoyed in 3 different ways: the water walkway enables you to observe the movement of the water as it plunges into the valley; if you’re looking for that adrenaline kick try one of the 4 via ferratas; and finally there is a beautifully designed kiddies’ play area with a water feature and a sandy playground. Furthermore, there is a newly constructed climbing facility with varying degrees of difficulty, suitable for youngsters and adults. Further information at: www.galitzenklamm.info
Lienz Town Market
Every Friday afternoon and Saturday morning farmers from East Tyrol, Upper Carinthia and South Tyrol market their home-grown produce. The market is in the Messinggasse, just 5 minutes away from the hotel. Everything you would expect to find at a farmers’ market can be bought there: fresh vegetables, Tyrolean bacon, sausages, tasty cheeses and home-made schnapps.

Crazy golf
In Lienz you have a choice between 2 crazy golf courses. The smaller one is in an ideal spot beside the Isel river in the shady Draupark. The other one is in a sunny location next to the equestrian centre in Amlach. Try your hand and see how many strokes you need to complete the course(s).
CineX
The cinema is at the opposite end of the square from the hotel. The 4 screens also show 2D and 3D movies, the special eyewear being available at the entrance shortly before the movie starts. The snackbar sells freshly made popcorn, drinks and chocolate.
If you feel like discussing the film over a drink after the show you can choose between the indoor café and the panoramic terrace. The CineX in Lienz is also the ideal place for meeting friends, shooting pool, playing table football or trying your luck on one of the various fruit machines.
